I just submitted my doctoral thesis at Birkbeck, University of London

My viva is in a few weeks. If I pass, I will have a long list of people in London & Ireland to thank. But I just want to say how grateful I am to Dermot Hodson and ben worthy for everything they’ve done to get me this far.

A *tiny* reminder that:

1. A challenge to the Illegal Migration Act may disapply it in NI;

2. The Rwanda Bill, when enacted, may be vulnerable to disapplication in the same way as (1); and

3. Different asylum regimes in NI & GB will +++ the costs of plans like Rwanda.
