“We’ll fix it next quarter” is corporate for “we’re hoping it goes away.”

I see many CFOs/accountants talking about what they do: forecasting, reporting, dashboards, etc. But clients only care about the result of what you do. You’re not selling spreadsheets. You’re selling confidence, clarity, and control.

Build systems before you scale. If you can’t track $1M cleanly, you’ll lose control at $10M.
