I was thinking the other day how I wanted my late husband, Glenn back. Two minutes later I got an advertising email entitled, “Glenn we want you back.” You can’t make this stuff up! #FridayMotivation

When I was newly widowed someone suggested I give back. At the time I didn’t feel I was grateful for anything since my husband died suddenly. Then one day I started volunteering and found I got back way more than what I gave and have never stopped. #SundayBest

When I moved across the country I wasn’t sure how that would be leaving the home where my late husband & I shared a life. So, I packed up my memories and took them with me. #mondaythoghts

Sorry this is happening to you. Studies show that keeping our late loved ones in our thoughts helps with grief. Most non bereaved think the opposite is true.

Grief may always be with us just like our love for them never fades but I’ve found that over time, the harshness lessens. #Sundaymorning

The best advice I was given when I was newly widowed was to just be gentle with myself. I share this simple truth as often as possible.

I’ve found that if I sit quietly and think of specific memories of my loved ones who have passed it feels like I’m back in those moments. It’s a clear energy shift. Give it a try and see if it works for you. #FlashbackFriday

Sundays were always a day my late husband and I spent together, no matter what. Since widowed I’ve had to rebuild and find new ways to spend weekends with keeping some cherished traditions alive. #SundayMotivation

When I was newly bereaved I was shocked at how others avoided the topic. All I wanted to do was talk about my late husband but most avoided like the plague. Once I met another griever I immediately found my tribe. #MondayMotivation
