Alec Millender and Dwayne Koroma once again providing solid minutes off the bench, each getting on the board. Jacob Furphy seeing some first half action as well, he's an x-factor with the Mullins injury.

24-11 UConn at the U8. Reibe and Stewart join Demary in the two foul club for the Huskies. Looks like Silas is coming back in for the first time since departing. Furphy connected with Reibe for an open slam a few minutes ago. Good to see those two in sync.

Malachi Smith's THIRD foul sends us to the U4. 36-23 Huskies, who have limited the Spartans to just four made field goals up to this point. Offense feels like its missing a consistent facilitator, but I'll credit that to both PGs having three fouls.

At the half, UConn leads Michigan State 44-33. The obvious story is the foul department, in which the teams have combined for 28 in the first 20 minutes. Still a lot of question marks, as we saw a bunch of odd lineups with the foul trouble. Ball leads the Huskies with a dozen.

Now Koroma picks up his FIFTH as I was typing, but apparently we are doing six fouls and you're out tonight per PA announcment.

UConn leads 52-42 at the U16. Foul tracker for the Huskies: Koroma 5 Reibe 4 Karaban 3 Smith 3 Demary 3 Stewart 2 Ball 1 Furphy 1 Get it out now, right?

Back-to-back triples from Ross and Smith force an Izzo timeout and our first U-C-O-N-N at PeoplesBank Arena. 60-44 Huskies with 12:10 to play.

67-52 UConn at the U8. Alex Karaban has a quiet 16 tonight for the Huskies, taking fewer triples (2-4) and driving to the rim more. Almost had an epic Andre Jackson-esque putback slam on a Furphy miss but couldn't come down with it.

We just had the fastest shot clock violation ever at 19 seconds. Mass confusion on the floor as UConn is awarded 11 more seconds after review.

Dwayne Koroma picks up his SIXTH and has fouled out. Probably the only time I'll be tweeting that this season, but there's still 4:40 left and plenty of whistles to be blown.

71-62 UConn at the U4. 7-0 Spartan run makes things a little interesting at the 3:31 mark. Demary, Ross & Karaban all looked done for the night, but all three are checking back in after this late push.
