Big things ahead for these two Tyler, a University of Central Florida grad, and Jason, a Liberty University grad both Class of 2024 are already making their mark. In just one year, they’ve built strong resumes through congressional internships and volunteering with CVA.

A highlight for Tyler was meeting his State Rep, Doug Bankson. As a recent University of Central Florida grad, he shared concerns about today’s job market; an important conversation with a member of the Careers & Workforce Subcommittee.

Honored to meet with State Rep Sam Greco A Navy JAG Corps Lieutenant, he understands the true cost of freedom. We discussed the reality that some enlisted (E-6) live under the poverty line and the need for solutions like ADUs to expand affordable housing for military families.

Meet Joel A 15-year U.S. Army veteran, Joel enlisted at 17, inspired by Reagan and a deep desire to serve his nation. When he’s not volunteering with CVA, he continues to give back through the American Legion. Thank you for reminding us that service doesn’t end with a DD-214.

Meet Jason Gordiany A 6-year U.S. Army veteran, Jason enlisted as an infantryman and was deployed 9 months in Djibouti, Africa. Now a recent Liberty University grad, he’s making waves through congressional internships and volunteering with CVA.

State Rep. Yvette Benarroch U.S. Air Force veteran, served 1990–1992 in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Now continues her service as a State Rep. We were honored to meet a leader who truly understands the challenges veterans and Floridians face.

Our Jacksonville volunteers met fellow veteran Rep. Dean Black Serving Florida’s 15th District since 2022, he’s a U.S. Air Force veteran and member of the 125th Fighter Wing in the Florida Air National Guard.

March is Women’s History Month Shoutout to Bridget Lake, U.S. Navy veteran & CVA volunteer since 2022. She uses her personal experience to advocate for healthcare choice for veterans and all Americans.

Thank you Congressman Byron Donalds for co-sponsoring the Veterans' ACCESS Act. Southwest Florida is home to a strong and proud veteran community. Across Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades counties, there are 115,000 veterans who have served our nation with honor.
