Nigerian Court has sentenced Uduak Frank Akpan to death by hanging over the gruesome murder of Hiny Umoren. Justice served! We want to see Justice done. Never to be forgotten.

Really sad to be doing this, I’ve always thought about blurring it out because it is still shocking. I still can’t believe this happened. Sleep well dear friend. A life well lived. So sad. #AriyoServiceOfSongs

I first met Ariyo at the ‘March For our Troops’ program late 2014 and he immediately struck me as a good man. Unfortunately, the good almost always never stay around for so long… Continue to rest in peace, brother #AriyoServiceofSongs

Today, we pay our respects to a brother, a friend, a colleague in the struggle for a better Nigeria — and a patriot who was unwavering in his desire to see a Nigeria that works for all Nigerians. #AriyoServiceofSongs

This is the model they have always promoted. Little did they know that uncouth act of thuggery and empty threats will not stop the design of Providence. What will be will be. The candidate of the people will emerge. Be you never so high, the law is above you— Lord Denning, MR.

1. On 1 Oct. 2008, police officers of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad shot Modebayo Awosika in the head and then set his car on fire. 2. An autopsy showed that he had died of a gunshot. But police told the coroner that Modebayo Awosika’s car hit the police patrol vehicle.

It’s quite ironic and shameful to see that those whose part of their primary duties is to protect rights and freedom of citizens are the ones violating them. The #NigerianPolice have so far acted with no care or heed for the consequence of their outrageous acts. This has to stop!

The policies are slightly cruel and the mission is vague. It’s now becoming a disaster for a common man. We really need to wake up from our unnecessary nap.
