Pink footed geese migrating north over the Moors of Langholm yesterday whilst undertaking the #ExeterRewilding fieldtrip in Scotland. Day 4 in Scotland for the #ExeterRewilding field course, on the menu today was the glen Tanar estate in the east of Cairngorm national park. They were led around a section of the estate while discussing the methods of management for the various land uses.

Yesterday was day 5 in Scotland for the #ExeterRewilding field course and the focus was on mindfulness and the ways we experience nature. This meant a day spent watching for dolphins and walking in Caledonian pine forests before a talk from veteran rewilder @royhdennis

Day 6 of #ExeterRewilding field course in Scotland. Today we were at Kinveachy estate hearing more about how large estates are trying to increase biodiversity while also continuing to operate as a business.

Day 8 of #ExeterRewilding was a transit from Cairngorms Connect to Argyll. Students working on rival management plans for Highland estates. Great stop at Argyll Beaver Centre to see the first official beaver release success @uniexecec @StuBearhop Dr Dave Hudson @McIntosh_Aimee

Days 8 + 9 in Scotland! 2 days with a lot of travelling across the country as we made our way from loch insh to Tarbert and then across to Islay. We also had a short stop at a beaver reintroduction site where we got to see the impact that’s been having on a loch! #ExeterRewilding
