I can watch a hitter & know if they have an approach or just winging it. Having an approach matters more when the pitching is real.

Swing mechanics -that's the easy part.

Most young hitters are late with the stride because they're associating heel-strike with commitment -it's separate.

I have to work really hard as a coach not to be deceived by my own biases. More than one thing can be true. If I'm not careful I could be blocking something I don't agree with that can help my kids.

I think we add really good swings to mediocre mentality & then we get what we get ... it should be the other way around tho

Elite players don't really need solutions. Instead, they need problems that match the world they exist in. This helps them find their own solutions by exploring swing patterns that are on time, faster, and moving them in the right direction.

The portal has increased parody in @ncaawbb & makes it so much more watchable for the casual fan. The culture of basketball also allows these women to be themselves. We want to see Authenticity in entertainment. We want to know their stories

At this point in the season it really can't be a swing problem -it's an approach problem.

Twitter hitters make practice the performance, but where's the game footage?

I'm focused on getting myself good enough to get players good enough to be recruited to their dream opportunity. And after commitment, we are beginning to be able to be good enough to contribute as a freshman in a more meaningful capacity. It's not swings -it's mindset.

Base-runners making the 'safe call' as you touch the bag. You look dumb. Especially when it's close and you're out. It's slowing you down.

Sometimes I can't tell if the pitchers are very good or if the hitters are not very good.
