A few news pieces on our #RoofsForRescuers quest were incorrect the amount of funding a SAR team receives. It is relative to size and capabilities of the team, with the maximum allocation being $100,000. Our team, for example, receives just over $86,000.

Weekend warriors beware! ⚠️ Adhere to Avalanche Canada ’s SPAW (Special Public Avalanche Warning). Sometimes your best decision is to save it for another day.
