I’m doing some webinars to show how it’s possible to provide all our pupils with gorgeous, accessible content in geography, history and RE. The webinars will be live and recorded. Each session will include a draft planning unit for KS1, KS2 and KS3. /1

On #adaptive_teaching. If we think of teaching (in the moment & over time) as conversation, then it will be naturally adaptive. Conversation is built on feedback loops: we adapt what we say next according to what others have learned from us, & to what we've learned from them.

'Teaching as #conversation' doesn't mean abdication of expertise or authority. (That is the fear of those who insist on the "just tell them" mantra.) Rather, it reflects confidence in exactly those things.
