Following the publication of police-recorded crime statistics this week, my analysis shows that nearly 18,000 domestic abuse crimes are not being counted.

This is after police were instructed to count fewer crimes.

New Children's Commissioner for England report reveals that 92% of child domestic abuse victims receive no advocacy support.

The DA Act recognises children as victims in their own right, but dedicated services for them are few & far between.

Support for children must be secured in the Victims Bill.

I welcome news that the creation of sexually explicit ‘deepfakes’ will become a criminal offence.

This content has a significant impact on victims and must be taken seriously.

There also must be a duty on digital platforms to proactively challenge all harmful online behaviours.

A pioneer and world leading expert, Evan Stark transformed our understanding of domestic abuse.

His work on coercive control and the impact on children helped many survivors feel understood.
