Last night, we unveiled Unsung Pillars of the Westside. This 21 mural art installation by artist Mike Norice at the Pearson Community Center was months in the making. These murals illustrate the rich history of the Historic Westside and are now a permanent part of Pearson!

Yesterday, I was proud to celebrate the Grand Reveal of the #UMCReVITALize project—a two-year effort that transformed Clark County’s only public, nonprofit hospital with modern upgrades, new facades, and healing gardens. UMC is ready to serve our community for decades to come!

On this Memorial Day, I stopped by Bunkers Cemeteries for their annual Service of Remembrance. We gathered to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. Every headstone is a solemn reminder of their courage and sacrifice. May we never forget. 🇺🇸

Last week, I toured the construction site of Visions Park and it was great to see the progress firsthand. With $8M in County support, this project will provide 100 affordable units designed for residents with visual impairments—promoting safety, dignity, and independence.
