H&M Spain has started a collective dismissal procedure for “organizational and productive causes”, planning to close 28 stores with an impact on 588 workers.

The H&M European Works Council stands in solidarity with these workers. Dismissal isn't the solution to H&M's problems.

The European minimum wage directive offers the European trade union movement a historic opportunity to rebuild its power by boosting collective bargaining.
