The “Peter Parker is ugly” take is just extremely bizarre cuz like that simply isn’t true. Like look at any comics art that man is HANDSOME

Also that he’s Protestant/Atheist/Agnostic. He’s Jewish.

Marvel won’t outright call him Jewish because they’re afraid of the antisemitic backlash they’d get but he regularly speaks Yiddish and constantly makes reference to practicing Jewish holidays. He just doesn’t follow the religious rules closely cuz he grew up in a Protestant home
