The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat watch for Sunday afternoon through Tuesday of next week. Extreme heat can be dangerous. Take a moment to review these safety tips and help protect your health.

The extreme heat advisory in our area has been extended through Wednesday at 8 p.m. Columbus is offering free ways to stay cool—community cooling sites, open libraries, and free rides are all available to help you stay safe and comfortable.

Tonight, Council President Shannon Hardin presented a resolution honoring 25 years of impact from The Legacy Fund. Since 2000, the Fund has supported LGBTQ+ community progress by investing in residents, organizations and programs. Here’s to 25 years of impact and more to come.
