Honoured to be invited to India in Ireland (Embassy of India, Dublin) as a guest of Ambassador Akhilesh Mishra to talk about @ctyi and the work we do with high ability students Dublin City University. Looking forward to further collaboration between Ireland and India in this field.

Delighted for my great friend Joe O'Hara to achieve this honour. Many years ago we had a chat about research in gifted education. 5 PhD students, 2 Masters students and multiple papers later this connection is still thriving. Onwards and upwards!

Another report and again no mention of gifted students. Given the high number of gifted students now being identified with autism and the policy within Department of Education to seemingly refer all these students to CTYI without consultation this seems like yet another backward step.

Another set of PISA results and another set of misleading headlines. If we actually want to be the 'best' at something then it might be worth looking at our 'best' students who are underachieving compared to their international counterparts. CTYI Dublin City University

It’s the last day of term CTYI for primary school classes. I thought it was appropriate to let this superstar student sign us off. Dublin City University

If anyone is interested in participating in this research, please contact Aoife. This is important work that needs to be highlighted.

Delighted to be here Dublin City University this morning to hear about the amazing work being done by Sinéad McNally Professor Mary Rose Sweeney Lisa Keenan on the autism friendly schools project. So many CTYI students are twice exceptional so this research is so important.

So the really excellent scoop is that CTYI have received €50,000 in funding from Erasmus+ in a project led by Lineke van Tricht to look at Equity in Gifted Education. Myself and Dr. Leeanne Hinch ✨🌼✨ will lead the initiative for Dublin City University so I think this qualifies as a good news day.
