If we’re going to have a serious conversation about competency, we have to acknowledge two things:

- patients are harmed at alarmingly high rates right now, with the number stable over the past couple decades
- when patients are “othered” that rate spikes

- Modifying labor/insurance laws, like with this 2023 Nova Scotial Bill: cbc.ca/news/canada/no…

- Authorizing other prof. (like NPs, Physio's, etc.) to sign these notes.
