A great day of wrestling for Colgan at the Patrick Henry HS Patriot Revolution. Zech Osburn and Colin Bouchard won titles at 138 and 190. Eli Kim, Ethan Bitonti, Thomas Gudz and Bryce Flanders were runners up in their weight classes.

More goodness from wrestling Saturday. Brandon Stokes, Macguire Leck and Colin Bouchard all notched their first career varsity wins at the Patrick Henry Invitational.

Colgan Wrestling had 3 Champions at the Pat Dulany on Saturday at Langley HS. Eli Kim and Ethan Bitonti took titles at 120 and 144 respectively. Zech Osburn pinned his way through the field to remain undefeated at 138.

Good first day at the Tiger Holiday Classic in Chapel Hill, NC. Five wrestlers moving on to the 2nd day. Zech Osburn and Eli Kim are in the semi-finals. Ethan Bitonti, Bryce Flanders and Andrew Byrd fighting for 3rd.

Colgan Wrestling went 2-0 tonight. Won a tight one over CD Hylton 41-39 and best Forest Park 60-23. Colgan wrestler Eli Kim won his 50th match. Justice Field won his first.

Great day of wrestling at the Warhawk Duals at James Madison High School. Three Shark wrestlers had their hand raised 5 times. Congratulations to Eli Kim, Ethan Bitonti and Ezat Alkozai for perfect 5-0 days.

Great Senior Saturday Quad Event. Congratulations to our seniors and their families. Seven of them in this class: Ethan Bitonti, Eli Kim, Zech Osburn, Andrew Byrd, Colin Bouchard, Sebastian Camacho and Brandon Wang. Thanks for your dedication.

Great day at the Cardinal District Tournament. Zech Osburn and Bryce Flanders won championships. Tyler Gutschmit, Elias Kim and Harry Gitlin were second and Ethan Bitonti and Jack Casto were third. The team took second.

Colgan Wrestling takes third at the VHSL Region 6B Championships. Ethan Bitonti becomes Colgan’s third-ever regional champion by taking the title at 144 pounds. He and five other Shark wrestlers are moving on to states.

Day Two of wrestling camp at Colgan is in the books. Morning conditioning in the stadium, lot’s of good technique work with Coach Hansen and his wrestlers. Then ended some hard fought games of basket-foot!
