Good win yesterday v Walnut Tree in the Saturday Challenge Cup. Very good pitch and we played football to match the conditions. 2 goals for Gaz Hutch and others from Tom Sweeney and Shaun Charlton.

By we made hard work of that v Spennithorne. First half excellent football. 2nd half lost focus and conceded some silly goals. Need more clinical finishing too. It should never have been a 5-3 game. Never that close.

A mixture of shambolic defending, less than convincing refereeing and good application from the opposition produced a 3-6 defeat v Richmond Town Reserves. Our biggest miss was the glue that holds our defence together - nige. We go again.

Heavy loss last night to Richmond Town Reserves who outplayed us 2nd half. No subs meant no changes. Finished with 9 fit men. Worked our socks off but 1-5 sees the end of our long unbeaten run in the Medal Shield. We go again Saturday.

Bad day on the 4G. Nothing went our way and a dispirited team were trounced 7-0 by Richmond Mavericks. Need to put this week behind us and hopefully get more of the squad fit again ready to face Cleveland FC next Saturday

Disappointing result last night v a resurgent Reeth AFC side. Fell behind early on after losing Tom Sweeney after 2 mins. Gave away 2 pens 2nd half tho 1 was saved but 4th goal came, and last minute goal from @JoseWolves was only consolation.

Sorry to report the demise of Colburn Town due to player availability issues. Hopefully a team will eventually arise from the ashes. It was fun while it lasted.
