This weekend in Cody Rouge!

We’re officially in motion! Last week marked the kickoff of our GDYT program, and we hit the ground running with a visit to one of our worksites - Detroit Impact. Our participants wasted no time getting to work and cleaning up. This is what youth leadership in action looks like!

We stopped by our GDYT worksite at Cody High School, where Force Detroit is doing powerful community violence intervention work. Through this partnership, we’re using basketball as more than just a game, it’s a tool to teach fundamentals, character, and connection.

Pit stop at Curry Motorsports! As one of our GDYT worksites in partnership with National Motorsports, youth are getting hands-on experience with race cars, learning about engines, aerodynamics, and the science that drives the sport. The future of motorsports is in great hands.
