What's with the wind lately? Well, the month of April is the windiest month on avg for the Twin Cities & much of MN. And this year is no exception. In fact, the last several years, there have been few months that have eclipsed 9.5mph on avg, while April has been 12/13 mph on avg.

A beauty of a sign off from another professional team moving cities. Hurts cause the Minnesota NorthStars moved when I was in MN. Moved to Phoenix where I became a Coyotes fan, and now they're moving. If they also win a The Stanley Cup soon after leaving, then I know pro sports are rigged.

Some heavy showers pushing into the west metro now with some pockets of lightning… the start of a pretty wet few hours for many…

Wet periods & very WINDY sum up the day for the Twin Cities. Scattered showers moving in through midday, then hefty rains possible late today into the eve commute. This all amongst cloudy skies, temps hovering in the 50s, & wind gusts likely topping 50 mph... your Tue Day Planner

Brighter & warmer for the Twin Cities today as the clouds part early, leaving us with some sunshine and a few random stray drips late this afternoon... temps are heading for the low 60s... your Tuesday Day Planner...

A nice sunrise, but cloud cover will linger today with plenty of moisture in southern MN... however this moisture will struggle to get into the Twin Cities. A few sprinkles or very light showers are possible, but it's gray more than anything with temps heading into the mid 40s...
