Summer Camp is over, but the memories will play on forever! The kids competed in Olympic-themed games, took tennis lessons, went on fun trips and made new friends – they didn’t want it to end! Thank you to everyone who helped make these memories possible. Best summer ever! 💜

The Coburn Place community garden is thriving and producing veggies! We have cherry tomatoes, peppers, basil, green beans and more available for survivors whenever they need some fresh food.

Mary is our resident green thumb! Mary helps survivors maintain our outdoor patio, playground and veggie garden. Her dedication overpowers the summer sun, and her gardening skills make Coburn Place a beautiful place to live.

Our friends at Target collected $135 in quarters for survivors' laundry needs and helped clean up around the building. Thanks for keeping us fresh!

Jared and his friends Justin, Erika and Theron organized an amazing field day for our kids during summer camp! They grilled lunch in the park, jumped in the pool, played games and served as great role models for our youngest survivors.

We celebrated the end of summer break with an unforgettable family trip to the Newport Aquarium! Everyone had a great time exploring the underwater world, meeting sea creatures up close and creating lasting memories together. 💜

Survivors and their children learned to make a healthy chicken dinner as a family from the Cooking Matters program through Indy Hunger Network. They even received the exact ingredients used in the dish and a crockpot to keep!

Our Children's Services fitness programming was a huge success! Despite the heat, the kids powered through an obstacle course and had tons of fun learning about exercise. After all the hard work, a water balloon showdown was the perfect cool-down!

Toni Byrd has been a consistent supporter of Coburn Place for years – even through the pandemic. Her passion for youth helps folks in the community and at Coburn Place, and she often donates urgently-needed items for survivors. She inspires us all!
