The season starts now....

College coaches say they want coachable players w great attitudes. Yet, every college "camp" is set up as a tryout. Coaches aren't helping the players. Why not? They're paying for a camp and a great oppty to see how a player responds to help/criticism and if they are "coachable".

All these different hitting styles aren't completely wrong (sure, some of the drills are ridiculous) but it depends on what kind of hitter you want to be... If you don't have enough power to hit a home run, you can't be a HR hitter.

If you're ok with a very high strike out / flyout rate, keep trying to elevate and celebrate. Know who you are as a hitter, embrace that, and be the best at who YOU are as hitter, not who you see on TV.
