Plane of rotation We want to have all our energy work together as much as possible If we draw a line, a lot of elite throwers will have their shoulders, elbow, and hand work along the same plane (represented by the red line)

All of these components work together, and are influenced by things happening earlier in the delivery such as: The pelvis not working in the same plane as the arm Not enough energy being sent up the chain Or simply not having the capacity to get in and out of positions
