There have been 22 state meet records broken the past couple of days at the state track and field meet. Seven of those meet records include Reagan and Peyson O'Neill of Bennett County. #SDTrack25 #SDPreps

What a race for Charlee W-S in the 400 m dash at the State AA Track Meet!! Not only is Charlee a State Champion in the event, but she is the gold medal winner- having the fastest time throughout all classes!! Outstanding performance, Charlee!!

It’s a 6th place finish for Eladio today at the State AA Track and Field Meet! Way to go, Eladio!!

Kali and Charlee do it AGAIN— this time in the 200 m dash! Kali is your State Champion running a PR and Charlee finishes in 4th tying her PR! Big team points too that helped catapult the team’s finish! Super job girls!!

The foursome of Carter S, George R, Hekmat, & Carson closed out the State Track & Field Meet by finishing in 4th place in the 4x400 m relay! This group ran a gutsy race exemplifying what Governor track & field is all about. Way to go, guys!

Congratulations to the girls’ track and field team scoring 63 points at the State AA Track & Field Meet finishing in 5th place overall! What an amazing group of girls who competed their hearts out all weekend! Way to go girls!

The boys’ team finished in 7th at the State Track and Field Meet- just 3 points out of a podium finish. The Govs had many placers throughout the meet and lots of top notch performances. We are proud of our boys’ team and excited for what’s to come!
