Only acceptable reasons to miss practice after age 14. -Hurt -Death in the family -Mandatory School assignment (not homework) -Extremely RARE Family event (Not a birthday or vacation) Being on a team is a commitment, it’s time we treated it like that again.

Winning a HS state championship is SPECIAL! The players go to school with each other in most cases for years, parents know each other, and it means something to the community. HS athletics bring people together and form a bond forever. HS athletics can't be replaced.

As much as it’s important to throw off a mound from a specificity standpoint, you can still train command (amongst other things) on flat ground. Here are Nolan Canestrari ‘25 and Braxton Pearson ‘24 using Driveline Baseball command training balls as part of their command competition.

Congratulations to Cumberland Baseball on winning the 2023 State Championship. Very well deserved by a team who competes hard, made big time plays time and time again, and left everything out on the field. Great job by Coach Cardoso, Coach Allard and Coach Nunes.

So much great info for young pitchers from Paul Skenes during the CWS broadcast last night. His areas of growth over the last year? - Getting stronger - Improved mechanics - Sleep, recovery, nutrition “It is simple if you do it for a long period of time.” FLATGROUND Pitching

I hope all aspiring college baseball players are watching the College World Series of Omaha. There is a ton that can be learned from watching these games and you get a glimpse into just how good players at this level are. The talent level in college baseball right now is ridiculously high.
