Former Merrill coach Jake Schalow has been chosen as the varsity boys’ basketball coach at D.C. Everest. Schalow is the son of Kaukauna coach Mike Schalow.

According to a recent survey of 400 boys and girls basketball coaches around the state 67% support adding a shot clock. D1 82%, D2 86%, D3 69%, D4 55%, D5 49%. In D5 that's a 30% shift in favor from the 2022-23 Survey.
