Happy 6⃣0⃣th Birthday, Steve Sewell! The Denver Broncos drafted Sewell in the 1985 1st round. He was a Bronco RB from 1985–1991. Sewell was a proficient pass catcher, which included 2 huge receptions on the 1986 AFCCG's "Drive." He was also a high school football head coach!

Honored to have the opportunity to recognize the legacy of Jack Trice in this game! To be a former player & now coach Iowa State Football, I am forever grateful of his courage to be the 1st Black athlete and stand for something bigger than the game.

On Juneteenth, we celebrate freedom and recommit ourselves to the work that remains undone. We remember that even in the darkest hours, there is cause to hope for tomorrow’s light.
