Women’s 4x1 is into the Finals at Drake Relays! Cold and rainy conditions this morning, but a school record time of 47.27!

That WINNING feeling! 💫🏆🏆 Spire sweep for the 4th year in a row at the KCAC Track & Field Championships last night! The women their 4th straight title with a whopping 220 points, completing back-to-back KCAC Triple Crown's. The men won their 5th straight title with 179 points!

What more can you ask for! An amazing staff and an amazing group of Student Athletes! Two championships at home! What a weekend for the Spires!

Record-breaking weekend for the Spires. Gretchen Raney set the All-Time KCAC Record in the 100m in 11.68, currently ranked 9th in the NAIA. Maddy Walter-Sherretts broke the School Record in the 800m with a time of 2:15.30, and Tommy Baker broke the 1500m School Record in 3:51.34!

Alstin Benton and Dylan Biedron were both named head coach and assistant coach of the year for the 2024 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Regional Awards.  Riley Hiebert was named Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year. Congratulations! #GoSpires #FirstCityU
