Success is compound interest. Time block by time block. Read, exercise, write, pray, appreciate nature, pick up trash, ask questions, listen, stand up for anyone when introduced, eat good food, keep a journal, work hard, play harder, laugh, visit a hospital, Smile.

There are two types of players: The first says “what’s in it for me?” The second says “what can I do for you and the team, Coach?” Always be the second type.

"Leadership is diving for a loose ball. It’s about being able to take it as well as dish it out. That’s the only way your going to get respect from other players" - Larry Bird

Accepting/following Jesus is not an intellectual issue, it’s a ♥️ issue- J Crook @ChristPlacePJ speaking on the Holy Spirit’s conviction of me(us) Holy Spirit is everywhere! God’s plan! One way to heaven- righteousness of accepting Jesus! I don’t measure up, Jesus paid the price!

Luke 12:12 "When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say".  Pray! Get my heart right!

Chase Allen is off the board from Model Basketball - Allen was one of the top performers at this year’s unsigned senior camp where Aiken saw him, a D2 NCAA program who made the tournament this year.

When did individual statistics take precedence in all star selections? Short time ago team success, difficulty of schedule&all around performance were considered. Once had an allstater help guide team to 2 Final 4while averaging 10ppg. Def.,Reb&ball handling matter! To all media!

The greatest coaches: -know the game -create a learning environment -hold the player/team accountable -teach competitive effort -care about players hearts That’s at every level, including AAU. Compromising coaches may do some of these things but don’t attempt to do all.

Compromising coaches self promote, they recruit, they have mixed standards, they don’t develop players or people. They are said to be transactional not transformational!(tell you what you want to hear!) Our children are a gift. Choose good people to coach/lead your child.
