My daughter has Aaliyah to look up to, but for me, I have Jamelle Elliott. As a black woman who coaches college football, having Coach Elliott across the street has been so validating for me. The calm, cool and collected giant she is. Grateful to call her friend! She is Goals!

This UConn Women’s Basketball season changed my daughter’s life. The way they validate every little girl that walks in that gym to cheer for them can not be understated. I know many other teams do that but we live in CT. They’re never too busy or too big & on behalf of the moms, thank you. 🐾
