There’s more to lifting weights than just adding strength or building muscle. It ain’t only about that. Usually, people who disagree with the truth of that statement, are people who have never trained a single client. Watch.

Don't start your chin ups from a half hang. Start from a full, dead hang each rep. Your partial reps are probably ego reps. And all they'll do is jack up your biceps and traps, while doing nothing to improve your back. And remember: No shame in using assistance for good form.

If you're training and eating for your audience - complete with its fake feelings - instead of for yourself, you're already fighting a losing battle. leeboyce.com/in-a-world-so-…

Big and tall lifters should do Zercher squats. They help fix form and posture, don’t involve direct axial loading, and are shoulder mobility friendly. Be sure to wear a hoodie. You’ll thank me later. #tallguytuesday

(Gym) ROPES: 1. Put your weights back. 2. Look both ways before crossing turf. 3. Wipe down equipment after use. 4. If you see a heavy set attempt, give some space. 5. Use the squat cage for lifts that REQUIRE one. 6. Do DB work anywhere but AT the DB rack. (to be continued..)

What will ACTUALLY matter in 25 years: Whether you trained smart enough to be able to move, lift, and enjoy life without issues. What won’t: If you chased some unrealistic, temporary aesthetic for your identity. No one is going to put “shredded in his 30s” on your tombstone.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: For this specific franchise (and its inevitable “isms”), this pretty much did all you could ask of it within context. Good combat edits, and incredible stunt work both at sea and in air. If you’re looking for your 2025 popcorn blockbuster, you got it. A-

TRUTH: You don’t need more volume. You probably need more INTENT per rep. Sloppy sets of 15 do less than clean sets of 6. High volume isn’t a requirement for progress. It’s often a fast track to poor form, missed reps, and longer recovery. Train smart, not emotional.

More sweat doesn’t mean more fat loss. It just means your body's cooling down. Train for outcomes, not appearances during the workout. If you wanna burn fat, train consistently and dial in the diet. Scratch wearing the Glad garbage bag over your regular t-shirt.
