We never stay the same. It is up to us whether we move forward in a negative or positive manner. We strive each day to improve so our team’s performance is better this week than it was last week. So excited to watch our team compete today. Go Green! Wilmington Football
4 1/2 hours before game time and there is a line formed for our tailgate. Never had so many people in attendance for a walk through. Go Green! Wilmington Football
Sometimes the scoreboard doesn’t always show the progress that is being made. We cleaned up a lot of things from last week and although we didn’t get the end result we wanted, we are inching closer to being a more disciplined and competitive football team. Wilmington Football
Mondays during the season are meant to improve our fundamentals. We get to work on ourselves by concentrating on the techniques of our position group. By embracing these periods, players can make huge improvements in their level of play. Wilmington Football
Energy, effort, and enthusiasm. Bring it with you every day. Wilmington Football
Being thoroughly prepared takes great mental and physical effort. It’s a long and hard process but it is so beneficial. Whether in athletics, school, or life, those who prepare properly set themselves apart from the rest. Wilmington Football
When the role we are given doesn’t coincide with the role we want, it is an opportunity to exemplify being a team-first player. By doing our assigned role to the best of our ability in practice and in games, we show our love for the team and our teammates. Wilmington Football
It’s Homecoming weekend at Wilmington College. Kickoff for the football game is at 3pm on Saturday. Don’t miss the excitement. Let’s get Williams Stadium rocking. Go Green. Wilmington Football
Wilmington College is celebrating homecoming today. Come see all the new signage at Williams Stadium and cheer on the Quakers as we play Muskingum University. Kickoff is at 3pm. Go Green! Wilmington Football
Just want to thank all the alumni, current students, and families that came out to cheer on Quaker Football yesterday. Although we didn’t get the outcome we were striving for, the game day atmosphere at Wilmington is truly one of a kind. Go Green. Wilmington Football
When players make mistakes, coaches need to look for the reasons why. Ask, have we communicated the player’s responsibilities clearly, are we devoting enough practice time to that skill, and what can we do differently in practice to reinforce what we need? Wilmington Football
If we get knocked down, we get up. If we get knocked down again, we get up again. It seems cliche, but it is so true. Getting knocked down and getting back up is literally how we move forward. It’s part of the process. It can’t be rushed. Learn and grow. Wilmington Football
As we strive to improve we must work incredibly hard. It’s not easy. It takes commitment, discipline, and consistency. We also need to enjoy the process. By bringing joy and excitement to what we do, our productivity naturally increases. Wilmington Football
The easiest thing in the world to do is criticize others. There is always a platform and anyone can do it. It takes no investment but also yields no dividends. What’s hard is rolling up our sleeves and getting to work solving problems behind the scenes. Wilmington Football
Game day. Two very magical words. All the energy and effort that goes into preparation to play is contest is extraordinary. Not everyone is willing to make that type of commitment. So excited to watch our players compete today. Go Green! Wilmington Football
On Saturday, on the road versus a quality opponent, we did not perform well. It was extremely disappointing. After the game, however, I went into the locker room before we left and saw this. Credit to our players and staff. Small things add up over time. Wilmington Football
