We lost a good man today. John started following Saluki Softball in 2000. He was our greatest supporter and a great friend. I spent a lot of time with him. Always talking softball. I will miss you dearly. A celebration of life will be planned in August

Met Meade over 20 years ago. Worked with him for many years. He is a great strength coach but better human. He loves SIU athletics and works hard to get the athletes ready to go.

Any coaches or anyone thinking of coaching. Take 2 minutes and listen to this from Nick Saban. Transactional coaches that treat their athletes as just a means to their own success as a coach will eventually fail. Invest in your kids. Value them as people. This is the key!!
