PLAYERS: Be so positive, encouraging, and friendly that even the teammates that tend to complain will want to be around you. Be the example on your team. Enthusiasm can be contagious.

Accountability isn’t about punishment, it’s about growth. It’s about refusing to let people settle. It’s about believing people are capable of a higher standard, and fighting for them to pursue that standard. Call people up, not out.

"When you get to the game, everybody wants to win.  Everybody wants to play well.  It's what did you do to get to the game?  How did you prepare?  How did you practice?  What kinds of habits did you create?" Games are played on game day, but games are won in practice.

The Winning Difference All the best coaches take about the will to prepare, not just the will to win. Championship teams have a strong will to prepare. • They prepare mentally. • They prepare physically. • They hold each other accountable.

You’re either improving or you’re falling behind — there’s no in-between. Change happens — that’s part of it. But progress? That’s on you. You decide if you’re going to put in the work to grow, or if you’re going to watch someone else pass you by.

PLAYERS: If your coach holds you accountable in the little things be grateful because that can set you up to achieve the big things you desire most.
