The hardest part about coaching is explaining the same concept 2-6 different ways.

"Just carry" is the biggest lie told to low ranked players. If everyone tries to 1v6, then everyone will end up 1v6 and inevitably throw.

I'm convinced a vast majority of the Overwatch playerbase does not read patch notes. There has to be a graphic somewhere that just says "buffed" or "nerfed" next to hero names and players lose their minds off that alone.

I dream of patch notes that I finish reading and say to myself "This changes the game competitively in a meaningful way."

Recently more and more of my time is being demanded. With so much more to focus on, I have had to evaluate what are my priorities. To that end, I have decided to leave (Disbanded) as a coach. I enjoyed my time on the roster, and I wish all the players the best. I love you all!

Displaying rank in competitive games has always been weird to me. It doesn't affect gameplay, but it does affect player perception. If you constantly see an icon, you associate your worth with it, and other players with. Marginal upside with a lot of downside imo.

The worst lie told to lower MMR players are tier lists. The 2nd worst lie is that they need to "carry."
