Today, GCISD hosted athletes from around the metroplex for the District’s 27th Annual Special Olympics Track Meet. It was a great day to watch GCISD athletes show off their hard work and create special memories for all in attendance. #WeAreGCISD

Kayden 8th, Blake 7th, Rio 7th, Jackson 7th, and Brandon 7th ALL hit PRs in either long or triple jump! Kayden took 1st in high jump, 2nd in triple jump, and 3rd in long jump! Talk about setting a high standard for these 7th graders to follow! Way to go boys! GMS Boys Athletics

This is the day that the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it.

The RB position, I hold dear to my heart because I played RB in college & High School so I have always coached the RB position to a higher standard. RBs should be able catch passes out of the backfield, pass block, have good balance, be elusive, have ball security & good vision.

Have to be a versatile back to stay on the field. Catching out the back field and blocking are huge coaching points for young backs looking to get to the next level.
