Bemidji State’s Homecoming Lake Jump It started in 1995 after Bemidji State Football upset Winona State on Homecoming. Players ran into the lake in full gear...bringing to life a fake postgame article written two years earlier. Since then, every Homecoming win has ended the same way. ⬇️

The lake jump after a homecoming victory is one of the best traditions in all of college football! The Beavs are 12-2 on Homecoming over the last 14 seasons and 22-7 since the beginning of the lake jump. #BeaverTerritory 🏈🦫🟢⚪️⚫️
