PSA: It’s all about the narrative We don’t want the truth or what’s right; we want the best story—the one that backs us up; the one that doesn’t require us to do the work; the one that confirms our bias It’s all about the narrative & the folks who know this are running the show

There will be a time in July when you think : Man, I’d love to watch some football. ANY football. Remember what you just witnessed and think…ok, not THAT football.

So, now that all the other schools can pay players, and the field expands to more than the media favorites, the SEC has to hang their title hopes on a Big XII team in the final 4.

After the events of the last couple years, I can’t believe former Pac-12 coaches & admin are still complaining about having to travel farther like they’ve been bamboozled. It’s like breaking your hand because you punched a wall and screaming, “Why did the wall do this to me?!”
