Phil Jackson on what really matters👇 🗣"Obsessing about winning is a losers game. The best we can hope for is to create the best possible conditions for success, then let go of the outcome... Have the courage to grow as human beings as well as players."

This Simon Sinek video brings up an interesting point in Talent ID. What kind of person should we target to play our chosen sports, and what makes them a great teammate? Would love to hear other coaches thoughts on this. youtu.be/zP9jpxitfb4

The definition of coaching 👇 🗣"The best coaching is where one sets up the environment to allow the players to develop this instinctive style rather than trying to 'teach' the game academically."

A couple things stand out about this: - Razor is a great choice But process wise, - Might be the first time a successor was named ahead of the incumbent finishing out a season - NZRU may not have notified Foster before the announcement 🤷‍♂️
