Pirates pick up a split in a region DH at home against rival Jackson. Pirates win game 1 3-2 behind a well pitched game from Kerrah Foster (‘26) and a HR from Callie Williams. We drop game 2 6-1 but win the series.

The Pirates won their second Region Champ. in a row tonight at Mary Persons. Pike wins 14-0 and 14-3 to finish 11-1 in region play. We got big nights out of Lily Alpough who was 3- 3 in game 1 with a double and 2 HRs…the second being a grand slam and Austin King who homered!

Congrats to freshman, Kerrah Foster, on recording her 100th strikeout of the season last night. Awesome job KK and we are looking forward to what your future holds.

I have a question for all you experts out there…or at least more of an expert than me. I had a youth coach ask me about pitch counts for youth softball pitchers…what are the numbers or should there be a limit put on these young arms? Let me here what you guys have to say.
