National Geographic Nat Geo Photography 2/ 1st a quick recap of what web3 is as per ETH founders.

3/ 1st 🚩 - It's not "permissionless" The KYC was 1st big turn-off, and they excluded some countries too.

4/ 2nd 🚩 - It's not "decentralised" Despite being on Polygon, why lock users to @SnowcrashNFT platform for secondary?

5/ 3rd 🚩 - unstable NFT marketplace The screenshot on the left is taken 2 days ago, and the one on right is taken right now. It fluctuated below 10% yesterday. Seems like a bug, but a very basic one to leave out for such a big brand mint.

6/ The price of mint is quite reasonable 215 MATIC (approx 203 USD as of now). This shady execution evaporated all of my excitement with every passing day. This also reflects in Natgeo's failure to get a sold-out, despite being a big global brand.

7/ Not sure, if the NFT platform tricked Natgeo or if Natgeo's officials desired this kind of execution. A big lesson for other corporates/brands for sure.
