Today I was at the Wythenshawe regeneration launch chatting with people and discussing our plans. I have lived in Wythenshawe my whole life and I am so proud of what we are working towards on civic. A Labour led Manchester is getting things done and putting our residents first

Good to meet with Kellen Homes and Great Places Housing Group this week who are bringing forward plans for a new neighbourhood of 498 new, low carbon homes on a brownfield site next to Phillips Park, East Manchester. There will be 214 affordable homes (43%), including 139 for social rent.🏡

This morning I took part in the Mike Dunn memorial 10k in Wythenshawe Park. Mike was a real community champion and is very much missed. I then attended a VE Day event in Northendon remembering those who died for our freedom. #wythenshawegames10k #veday80 #brooklands #northendon

Great to attend this new housing scheme with Bev Craig last week and see the progress on the building of 52 new social rent homes in the heart of Ancoats. These homes are part of our delivery of more social housing in the city to meet the needs of local residents in Manchester.🏡

Walked past the 76 new affordable homes being built in Didsbury today. 30 of these homes are for social rent, with new NHS medical centre too. Good to work with local councillor and social housing champion, Councillor Debbie Hilal on this project to deliver new social housing in her ward.🏡
