Today at Full Council, Councillor Anwar Khan asked the Executive Member for Housing what changes to Right to Buy mean for Nottingham.

Yesterday, Nottingham City Council accepted a grant of over £490,00 to be used to deliver more placements for young children in the city, helping to support working parents across the city.

We are pleased to announce the return of over £10 million of Right to Buy receipts from the government, which will be used to build and buy new social housing for Nottingham residents.

After 14 punishing years under the Conservatives, this is a government budget that will finally deliver for Nottingham and the country.

Last week Deputy Leader Cllr Ethan Radford announced £2m of additional investment in core, universal services This included over £750k for Nottingham parks, with £650k awarded to the Council by Labour’s Regional Mayor, Claire Ward, with a £100k top up from the Council 👇🛝
