Those collecting GCSE and BTec results today would have been in year 7 when the country went into lockdown. First they had to adjust to all the changes secondary school brings. Months later they had to adjust to a changed world. They should be so proud.

Minister for Climate Kerry McCarthy recently went to the Orkney Islands in Scotland, where she saw how emerging technologies are harnessing wind, waves and tidal current to help the UK deliver more secure, homegrown energy. EMEC AECOM

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Scotland. I saw how our natural resources - wind, waves, tidal currents - can help us generate homegrown clean power, and how protecting our peatlands will help in combatting climate change and reducing emissions, while boosting biodiversity.
