Even if Starmer came up with a good idea, which he most certainly hasn’t, he’d not be able to sell it to anyone other than his stalwart diehard Labour supporters. He’s appalling as a front man.

Is hospital the worst place to be when you are elderly, frail and not feeling too good? What is it about nurses/staff making noise, talking loudly, banging about and shouting and laughing all day and particularly at night, totally oblivious to patients wanting to sleep and rest?
