As #Labour has dropped idea of changing charity laws why can’t #PrivateSchools reduce fees so VAT then ask for donations which attract #GiftAid returns of 20% ?

What about #AUKUS? I haven’t seen or heard anything about it from #Labour Important for defence and also high tech jobs in UK

Quite right. UK does not have anti missile systems in place against #Russian cruise missiles or bombers although #RAF could intercept bombers .No air raid shelters or alert systems here either…

Many probably most #SolarPlants are financial scams to create “Carbon Credits” to sell to oil companies or airlines to offset their CO2 emissions. Some facts- Solar panels only produce 12% of their stated output in UK because of our weather and night time.

Clive Glover (@clivebg) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Panels last 15 to 20 years when they need replacing. They cannot be recycled so go to landfill with toxic rare earth minerals. 95% of solar panels are made in #China using silica processed by slave labour in Xinjiang province.

Clive Glover (@clivebg) 's Twitter Profile Photo

3 Solar Plants are unmanned so remotely controlled using Chinese electronics. Plants are connected to #NationalGrid so open door for hostile actors to hack into Grid. Major security issue.

4 if new Goverment wants to stimulate growth then they should encourage manufacturing of solar panels in UK along with insulating building materials, triple glazing etc to reduce imports especially from China. Solar panels should be on new homes, warehouses and along roads etc

I believe there is a restriction that it only applies to one EU country at a time so can’t for example work in Spain for a year then go to France for 2

Yesterday, Bank Holiday Monday, over 100,000 people of all ages from all over the UK, Europe and beyond attended two #DrWho #Proms concerts at the #AlbertHall in central London. No visible #Police but normal bag checking Left by bus, taxi & Tube No riots, stabbings or arrests.

It’s the same with solar. They use theoretical max output which can never be achieved in UK weather. Actual output is around 12% of theoretical max.

Clive Glover (@clivebg) 's Twitter Profile Photo

No - one waiting in Watling Street, Radlett knew this today until they saw bus go up past Red Lion where it used to go.why don’t you put notice on bus stop or on electronic signs?

The department also uses theoretical maximum output figures for solar plants. Such output requires full midday sunshine on equatorial sites. Reality in UK weather is around 12% of that maximum!
