Cleethorpes first XI won the final of the annual Grimsby Knockout competition in a tight affair against Lincs Cavaliers. Stand in skipper Jordan Cook with 58 plus a timely return from his holidays for Matty Owen who picked up four wickets.

First XI back in action today in a cup quarter final against Castleford Cricket Club. Cleethorpes have won the toss and elected to bat first.

A superb win for Cleethorpes on the road against Sheffield Collegiate CC by 31 runs.

In a game reduced to 32 overs per side. The star of the game was Jordan Cook who not only got a run a ball 45 in tough conditions, but then backed this up with 4/17.
