Brian Trueman (1932 – 2024) R.I.P - Brian was an English broadcaster, writer and voice actor. He was known mainly for his work with the animation studio Cosgrove Hall. He wrote and/or narrated children's cartoon series, mostly during the 1970s and 1980s.

Sunderland Empire Theatre. Sid James is said to haunt the theatre after suffering a fatal heart attack on stage.

On 26 April 1976, while touring in The Mating Season, Sid James suffered a heart attack while performing on stage at the Sunderland Empire Theatre, he died an hour later. Les Dawson, claimed to have seen the ghost of Sid James at the theatre and refused to appear there again.
