For some reason thinking about the mythic and diesel punk vibe of #RebelMoonDirectorsCut and its universe. Completely its own thing in such a beautiful way!

something inherently eerie about the technology in rebel moon is how analog everything is shoveling coal (in this case the organic matter of your slain victims) to force-feed the interdimensional being you've enslaved to power your ship is such a unique take on space travel

"Kindness is a virtue worth dying for. I believe that. I didn't always." I love how Sam's presences and acts reinforces that theme throughout the film in #RebelMoon

The last episode (minute 140) of Batman v Superman: By The Minute Podcast is for me the best I've listened to. Andrew Dyce and โ˜•Stephen M. Colbert do an amazing job discussing Batman killing and the deconstruction of superheroes in storytelling. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/minโ€ฆ

Wish you could see the scene as shot. Thereโ€™s a lot going on. Itโ€™s rich and emotional. Perhaps by arresting her father, Batman believes heโ€™s sparing her worse trauma. Or perhaps with his own traumatic past Batman is doing what many hurt people do: heโ€™s leaving wreckage behind him
